Martha is a third year psychology major at the University of California Riverside. She enjoys being in the outdoors because she worships butterflies and hugs trees. She is also a professional part-time singer…in the shower. When she’s depressed, you can usually find her in the nearest shooting range. She also loves anything that is part of the visual and performing arts. Her favorite hobbies include procrastinating, searching for the chupacabra and eating exotic foods like alligator. Most of all, she enjoys the feeling of satisfaction when helping people through education.

Melissa Felix is pretty much a senior at UCR (ok, she is 1.5 units short) and she is getting married to her lovely man-boy sometime in 2010. She loves the Simpsons, Monty Python, the X-Files, learning about religion (Go Judaism and Christianity!) reading, writing (although, despite being a creative writing major, she really doesn't feel that she writes enough), talking politics, watching the Fox News Channel just so she can angry up the blood (grrr, Sean Hannity!) and being silly in general.

Jessica hopes that *ITCH can be a catalyst for a RADICAL FEMINIST REVOLUTION to take over UCR's campus! We ARE the Fourth Wave baby!!! Hahaha...
In all seriousness, Jessica does belive that feminist theory is a remarkable framework that can serve as an analytical tool to deconstruct patriarchy and to improve the lives of men, women, and children. Jessica has been practicing Kenpo Karate for over a decade and she hopes that with a blend of the martial arts and feminist theory she can begin to eradicate the epidemic of violence against women in her community. She loves to run in the rain and travel under any and all conditions. She credits the strong women figures in her life, including her fellow co-editors, as her sources of inspiration.
